Ice-breaking activities

Make your flipbook!

Check out this link: https://onthesamepageelt.wordpress.com/2016/03/28/habits-and-routines/

Directions:

  • Make your flip book first
  • For each day of the week make 1 page
  • Write two or three sentences "What do you do every day?" using adverbs of frequency or time expressions on each page. You can also add "false" sentences.
  • On each flap, draw a picture that represents each of the actions.
  • In pairs or teams, take turns guessing other classmates’ routines by looking at the pictures and then checking their answers inside.
  • Ask a few questions to get more specific information (“How often…?”, “Where do you usually…?”, “What time do you…?”, and so on)
  • Find the routines that are not true.
